Alaistair has worked in and around the forefront of communications technology for more than 25 years. His programming experience pre-dates the Internet and encompasses knowledge of all major languages and databases. Alaistair is The Refinery’s Digital Director, he project manages a diverse portfolio of work from stylish brochure sites to full, bespoke, database-driven web services. Alaistair also advises on and oversees our clients websites’ Cyber Security and works with local security experts to ensure that our clients’ websites are kept secure.

Natasha is the director of PR at The Refinery. She is a former business journalist and therefore benefits from inside knowledge of local media and holds an impressive array of media contacts. Natasha is proficient in delivering strategic PR that adds real business value. Particular specialisms include writing for the Web, Event-Led PR and Media Relations. Natasha is an award-winning PR practitioner and is Vice Chair for the industry professional body CIPR in the Channel Islands.
Friday breakfast favourite: Eggs Benedict.
Steve’s role at The Refinery is to oversee the creative output for clients by working closely with the studio, digital and marketing teams to ensure the best brand experience possible.
He has over 27 years’ experience within the creative industry in the UK and the Channel Islands. Gaining a wealth of hands-on experience within a number of advertising and marketing agencies in London, he working up to a senior level on major accounts such as the BBC and Honda (UK). More recently he has successfully launched or redefined brands including Jersey Electricity, Condor Ferries, 4hire, Sure, Airtel Vodafone, Royal Bank of Canada, Standard Bank, Seymour Hotels, Jersey War Tunnels and Style Group.

Rebecca is an experienced Marketing Manager and has worked with the company for over eight years. She manages the day to day running of accounts and is a constant point of contact for clients. She is an active and creative member of the team who supports clients, delivers creative campaigns and ensures an efficient marketing service. She is resourceful and savvy in creating marketing strategies to achieve exceptional results within budget and on time. She is a member of Chartered Institute of Marketing. Her event experience offers a high level of service ensuring an increase in client retention and new business contacts.

PR Account Manager
Katie is the Refinery’s PR Account Manager. With several years PR experience in the telecommunications industry and a degree in International Relations, she is a confident communications professional. She delivers both traditional and social media campaigns for a diverse range of clients and thrives in dynamic and fast paced environments.

Eunice is a talented young creative with significant depth to both her creative talent and her technical skill set. Since finishing university in 2012 with a degree in Graphic Design, Eunice has been deeply involved in the design industry in Jersey. She is a team player and is always counted on for passion, positive attitude and overall determination. Her multidisciplinary skill set reflects a broad range of creative talent bridging traditional print design, web design and motion graphics.

Junior Digital Administrator
Charlie is the Junior Digital Administrator of the digital team at The Refinery. With extensive experience in administration roles and a colourful educational history, he is quick both to learn and to implement his knowledge into his work.
His role at the Refinery is to tend to client’s websites and digital presence, occasionally showing his hand at developing. He works closely alongside the marketing, design and PR departments to provide a smooth digital experience for all involved.

Junior Marketing Executive
After studying for a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Business Studies, Shona began her career in marketing, gaining experience from working on accounts such as Coca-Cola. Shona now forms part of the marketing team, acting as a key point of contact for clients and ensuring all jobs are completed to a high standard and in a timely manner. During her time at The Refinery, she has developed her experience in a broad range of areas, including media planning, event management, social media management and developing and implementing advertising strategies.

Jack is a highly versatile and talented developer who we believe actually thinks in code! His ‘anything is possible’ attitude to web development and proactive problem solving has allowed our creative team the freedom to work without constraints and create unique online experiences.
