Alaistair has worked in and around the forefront of communications technology for more than 25 years. His programming experience pre-dates the World Wide Web and encompasses knowledge of all major languages and databases. Alaistair is The Refinery’s Digital Director, he project manages a diverse portfolio of work from stylish brochure sites to full, bespoke, database-driven web services. Alaistair gained his Certified Information Systems Auditor certification and advises on and oversees our clients websites’ Cyber Security and works with local and national security experts to ensure that our clients’ websites are kept secure.

Steve’s role at The Refinery is to oversee the creative output for clients by working closely with the studio, digital and marketing teams to ensure the best brand experience possible.
He has over 28 years’ experience within the creative industry in the UK and the Channel Islands. Gaining a wealth of hands-on experience within a number of advertising and marketing agencies in London, he working up to a senior level on major accounts such as the BBC and Honda (UK). More recently he has successfully launched or redefined brands including Jersey Electricity, Condor Ferries, 4hire, Sure, Airtel Vodafone, Royal Bank of Canada, Standard Bank, Seymour Hotels, Jersey War Tunnels, NatWest International and Style Group.

Rebecca is an experienced Marketing Manager and has worked with the company for over eight years. She manages the day to day running of accounts and is a constant point of contact for clients. She is an active and creative member of the team who supports clients, delivers creative campaigns and ensures an efficient marketing service. She is resourceful and savvy in creating marketing strategies to achieve exceptional results within budget and on time. She is a member of Chartered Institute of Marketing. Her event experience offers a high level of service ensuring an increase in client retention and new business contacts.

Head of PR
Kate is the head of PR at the Refinery. She has over 15 years of Marketing and PR experience having previously worked as the Marketing Manager for Shell and Ørsted in London as well as running her own business providing marketing support and copy writing for UK businesses such as Kimberly-Clark Professional. Kate brings with her an enthusiasm and determination to deliver high quality communications and support for all clients to ensure they fully leverage PR opportunities. Kate specialises in writing copy across all communication mediums, event support and crisis management.

Eunice is a talented young creative with significant depth to both her creative talent and her technical skill set. Since finishing university in 2012 with a degree in Graphic Design, Eunice has been deeply involved in the design industry in Jersey. She is a team player and is always counted on for passion, positive attitude and overall determination. Her multidisciplinary skill set reflects a broad range of creative talent bridging traditional print design, web design and motion graphics.

Charlie is the Web Developer as part of the digital team at The Refinery. With extensive experience in administration roles and a colourful educational history, he is quick both to learn and to implement his knowledge into his work.
His role at the Refinery is to code and build client’s websites and digital presence, with knowledge of a huge variety of systems. He works closely alongside the marketing, design and PR departments to provide a smooth digital experience for all involved.

Lou has worked in client relations for most of her working life, servicing high net worth individuals and businesses within fund management and the property market.
She delivers a broad spectrum of experience, strong creative and design skills and takes a key role in supporting the team at The Refinery to develop lasting relationships, ensuring we use our various skills to deliver on time, on budget and exceeding client’s expectations.
